Somewhere - Tag Based File Management
A downloadable tool
Introduction
Somewhere is a Tag-Based file management system, designed for both those who favor keyboards (with Command-Line Interface) and those who favor using Window-based desktop applications (with tons of other features!).
Organize local files like never before! Use tags, unlimited-length file names, non-hierarchical system to manage all your files in one place (which is called a "Home Repository"). Make notes directly within the file system, and keep everything related to each other through tags.
With integrated knowledge subsystem and markdown preview, this can turn your ordinary folder and isolated files into a coherent ecosystem you never even knew possible before. With non-intrusive native file system based approach, the speed of your access is only limited by the underlying hardware.
Both the software and database format is completely open source - you own your own data, and don't hesitate to hack around!
Features
- Command Line Version (Runs on All .Net Core Platforms): File Tagging.
- Windows Desktop Version (Runs on Windows Only): Integrated Markdown Editor; Integrated Browser.
